One can get an E.coli infection by eating food or drinking water contaminated by the bacteria.

Composition- Mercurius Solubilis 1M, Kalium Muriaticum 6, Arsenicum Album 6, Aloe Socotrina 6.

Mode of Action of Individual Ingredients- 

• Mercurius Solubilis 1M:  Stool bloody and slimy with pain and tenesmus. Never-get-done feeling.
• Kalium Muriaticum 6:  Diarrhea after fatty food, Dysentery.
• Arsenicum Album 6:  Violent diarrhea, Burning stool.
• Aloe Socotrina 6:  Involuntary soft stool with passing wind.

Dosage- 5 to 10 Drops with 1/4 cup of water to be taken orally 4 times daily or as prescribed by the physician.
